[Spm] Postdoctoral position available

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Prof. R.W. 
Carpick, University of Pennsylvania (http://www.me.upenn.edu/~carpick). 
A strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, 
Physics, or Chemistry is required. The research will focus on the 
nano-scale study of anti-wear films formed in lubricated steel contacts 
and involves a collaboration with Exxon Mobil.

Strong experience with AFM is required. Working knowledge of other 
scanning probes, surface science techniques, electron microscopy, and 
tribotesting is desired.

The appointment will be for at least one year, renewable annually for up 
to three years. The position includes competitive salary and benefits.
