Dear All,
I use a Veeco multimode AFM with Mikromasch NSC-18 Cr-Au coated tips for
liquid imaging. the spring constant in liquid being 0.05N/m and resonant
frequency 35kHz.
I am imaging lipid bilayers following the protocol according to this paper -
*Synaptotagmin Perturbs the Structure of Phospholipid Bilayers*
http://pubs.acs.org/cgi-bin/article.cgi/bichaw/2008/47/i07/html/bi701879g.html
The heights of the bilayers are mostly 2-2.5 nm. sometimes they range from
1.2 - 3 even. Does anybody else also get such low bilayers? Any suggestions
will be very useful.
Regards,
Swetha
