[Spm] adhesion of DNA/e-coli on the silanized silicon

Hi,

We are struggling with getting fluid cell images on the silanized (APTES
coated) silicon/mica substrate. AFM and ellipsometry results confirm a good
layer of APTES but when we put DNA or microbial cells (such as ecoli etc.)
by using standard protocols, we don't find DNA/cells on the substrate. We
tried changing the concentration of DNA/cells but it did not help.

We will appreciate if somebody could help us getting the DNA/cell images in
the fluid cell. We are using Multimode SPM with Nanoscope IV controller
with NPS probes from Veeco.
