Hi,
You have to fix the sample securely(tightly) with the scanner
in such way that even small(few Angstrom) movement of the scanner should
record in the image. I don't see any way to fix it without cutting to the size.
But my opinion is please don't try other method where sample is not properly
attached with the scanner. If you try some improper way, you may get some image but that will give you wrong information.

Hi everyone,
I have a student who wants to image contact lenses. I am unsure about the
best way to mount these specimens as she doesn't want to cut them and the
glue/tape she has tried has not been successful. She wants to image both the
inside and outside surface of the lens. Does anyone have any hints about how
I can keep the lens stable? (We are using a DI3000 system).
Thanks in advance,
Katie.
