Dear André Filby,
I recommend trying the SPIP software package, which I believe meets your requests.
Find more details at http://www.imagemet.com/index.php?main=products&sub=modules&id=14
http://www.imagemet.com/index.php?main=products&sub=examples&id=50

After downloading and installing SPIP, it will run in reduced resolution but we will provide a free time limited evaluation license on your request.

Best regards,

Subject: [Spm] Nanoscope Version 5.12r3 (=horror)

Hi all,

I´m working with AFM in order to obtain force-distance curves. I am using the software nanscope version 5.12r3. It is known, that this program has a bug and that the raw data can not be converted correctly. I have recently heard of the program SPMCON95 which is able to convert the raw data correctly into force vs. distance curves. I have installed this software on a pc with Windows NT, but it still doesn´t work. The display will open, but there is always the message: Run time error 6: overflow. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Will SPMCON95 only run on a Windows 95 PC? If yes, what else can I do to convert the data fast and correct? Any suggestions for other software? Has anyone else experiences with the Nanoscope Version 5.12r3?

Thanks in advance for the help.

André Filby
