[Spm] Piezo amplifier

Dear Chibum,

The bandwidth of piezo amplifiers often depends strongly on the peak-peak
voltage you need to apply, and the capacitance of the piezo. In electronics
terms: output current and slew rate are often the limiting factors. Also
bear in mind that if you do not need large amplitudes for your high
frequency excitation you may not need a 'piezo' (high voltage) amplifier at
all.

For piezo amplifiers, I can recommend two companies: Leiden Probe Microscopy
(http://www.leidenprobemicroscopy.com
<http://www.leidenprobemicroscopy.com/> ) and Falco Systems
(http://www.falco-systems.com/) . Contact them to find out what you need for
your particular application. Both of these companies are headed by people I
know personally, but I have no commercial interest in either.

Cheers, allard

Subject: [Spm] Piezo amplifier

Dear all

I tried to excite the sample with high frequncy using piezo actuator. I plan
to bought small piezo from PI and I need the amplifer.

Can anyone recommend me some reliable piezo amplifier which has high
bandwidth?

Thank you in advance
