Dear Xu,

Please specify the types of mica you used and experimental conditions (in aqueous solution? pH, salt concentrations). And how did you measure the surface charge of mica? by AFM force titrations or other methods? And what kind of AFM probes you are using and how they are treated before measurements if you are using AFM force titration methods?

Regards,
Yang

hi all.

Anyone has experience with mica surface charge? (e.g. freshly peeled,
positive or negative, is it stable/consistent)

Some of my recent exp. shows it may be positively charged instead of
previously believed to be negatively charged...

Thanks,
