Dear Debby, Nico and Julio,
In the case you want to use a thrid party software in order to make some ASCII export of Veeco files, you could as well use Punias (http://site.voila.fr/punias).
All opened files can be exported as raw data and depending on the analysis chosen as Force vs deformation.
Besides this, Punias able to analyze around 1000 single force curves with 10 different analyses methods within one hour in a semi-automatic mode, and in a couple of seconds in a fully-automatic mode.
Its latest release Punias 3D is going even further by allowing to display maps of all the analyzed results and the possibility for the user to surf between 1D and 3D analysis.
More details on how to use the software for single curves or maps analysis can be found under the following links:
http://site.voila.fr/punias/download/howtousepunias.pdf

Feel free to contact me for any additional question or information.
Best regards,
Philippe
