[Spm] Corrosion

Dear SPMers,

I need to now whether there is any way of obtaining absolute values of 
height because during the process of corrosion, pit growth occurs at the 
same time that deposition and therefore it is difficult to know whether 
the valleys are getting deeper or the tops taller. I would like to know as 
well if it is possible to use magnetic tip in liquids and if it necessary 
to follow any special procedure.
