Dear Colleagues,I use a Veeco Multimode to examine self-assembled DNA structures on mica surfaces in tapping mode in both ambient and fluid conditions. I am interested in attempting to clean my tips using plasma cleaning, and am wondering if there are recommended conditions(pressures, times, gases etc.) for doing so?I would also be interested in knowing what the likely effects on the tip might be, for example tip radius, charging, chemical composition and so forth...Thanks in advanceTom SobeyDoctoral StudentCenter for Nanoscience and Department of PhysicsLudwig-Maximilians-UniversitätGeshwister-Scholl-Platz 1D-80539 Munich Germanytsobey at hotmail.com+49 (0)89 2180 5302 (Work)tomsobey (skype)http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/~tsobeyhttp://bio.nano.physik.uni-muenchen.de
