Surface Chemistry/Sensor Post-doctoral Opportunity

Surface Modification for Hydrogen and Humidity Sensors

NASA funded research in collaboration with a sensor development company.

Candidate should have surface chemistry/modification experience. Expertise in
the following areas would be useful; growth of self-assembled monolayers, metal
deposition, sensors, electrochemistry, preparation of single crystal
electrodes, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Scanning Tunneling Microscopy
(STM).

A strong record of publication in peer-reviewed literature attesting to
these capabilities is required. Additional responsibilities include
training and supervision of students, and preparation of reports and
manuscripts for publication. Ph.D. in Chemistry or related discipline is
necessary. A strong background in physical/surface chemistry is desirable.
