Fan Yang asked about getting an optical microscope suitable for viewing the tip and sample in the NanoScope Multimode AFM.
Veeco's model OMV is specifically designed for this purpose.

Don

We want to buy a optical microscope with digital camera to investigate AFM, however, I have little knowledge about that. Can you give us some good suggestions about which one should we purchase? Our AFM is nanoscope III multimode. The working distance should be larger than 40mm, and maximum of magnification should be larger than 300X. Thank you very much!
