Hi all:
I have a Veeco D-3100 AFM with a NanoScope IIIA controller. The software
version that I am using is 5.30r3.sr3. I determine various statistical
parameters such as average (number average/mean) diameters, average pit
lengths and side wall angles etc. using the particle size and the CD/DVD
analysis packages that come along with this software. However, I also
want to determine some other statistical parameters such as 'weight
average diameters' etc. which are not provided in the 'turn key' software
package. For this I need to know all the values of the selected
parameters. How do I access these values? I would like to have them in
an excel spreadsheet so that I can extract various statistical parameters
from that data. Veeco says that these data points are not directly
accessible! But then, how do they determine the averages in their
software packages? Your comments and suggestions to resolve this problem
will be much appreciated.
Best regards,
